games day at church today!! whooo.

super long post, but i had fun today. that's why

i woke up at 6.30 so i could meet tessa in time at 745. we managed to finish sab's book. haha we had a lot of fun! sheryl came down and played with tessa's paper cutter. and we got most of everyone to sign. wei ian tried playing table tennis with the picnic table. i sucked at it. rawr. then we rushed up for worship.

we weren't really late. after worship and offering we gave the teachers' day present and surprised sab with hers. i hope she likes it. hahha. ((: dean sabo me la. make me go up and pray for jialin. haha. then we had GAMES!

first we all had to sit on the left side and take the piece of paper out from under our chair. i was in the donkey group. haha. instead of taking the paper with the group name, someone peeled off the sticker with the manufacturer's info on it!! then we went down to the foyer.

the first game. we were blind folded and we had to find the other people in our groupby hearing others making the noise of the animal and making the noise of the animal to find our way around. i managed to find ruth and cheryl in my group then we went around saying hee-haw. and then we bumped into someone and went HEEHAW HEEHAW at him. then all of a sudden was shouted at us MEOW!! then we continued to bump into him. XD

the second game. we finally got into our groups. we took off the blindfold and each got a string and a balloon. we had to blow up the balloon tie it to one end of the string and then tie the other end of the string to our ankle. and we had to work as a team to pop the balloons of other teams but make sure ours don't get popped. rawr. my team lost. we only had one surviving balloon out of 6 of us.

the third game. we went down to the canteen. straws and ping pong balls. something like table soccer. just instead of those men figures we used straws to blow the pingpong balls off the other side of the table. my team won! haha but it was disgusting. cos someone got his saliva all over the table. and slowly the ball got coated with his saliva. but we won both games! hahah

the fourth game. we had to reuse our straws (ew) and work as a team to finish a 1.5l bottle of sprite. we were about 10m away from the bottle and we each had to take turns to run back and forth to take one gulp only. we didn't win. but the prize was a new bottle of sprite. XD i think sab's group won. hahaha

the fifth game. we went back up to the foyer. no more team games. we used the string and handcuffed ourselves together. and we had to get out of it. no one could figure out how. hahah and i still don't know how.

the sixth game. the whole youth min had to fit onto a ground sheet. which was no problem. then we had to all stay on the sheet and turn it over without stepping off. and we did it!! :D but it was kinda too close for comfort. us shorter ones were practically suffocating. and we were grabbing on to each other. at first we included the youth leaders. but everyone was falling off the sheet so it was youth only. we did it!!

haha then we closed in prayer. and learned that in blaze inc, we'll have to be closer together in the heart and physically. and sometimes too close for comfort. but we have to continue to encourage each other. (:

after that dean, chin whye, wei ian, keefe, hendrik, qing guang and i went to suki sushi for lunch. man it was so funny. hahah. it's all dean's fault. blame everything on dean aka beanbo. hahah. we didn't let dean break his record. we cam-whored a bit with wei ian's cam. the mess dean made. i would've said we, but everything is dean's fault. he spilled a lot of soy sauce on the table. then wei ian tried to make the mess look bigger. so he took tissue and dipped it in the soy sauce and made the mess look messier.

after that dean, chin whye, keefe and i went to play pool at marina square. it was really expensive. $10 an hour. O.o i got really annoyed with my dad cos he asked me to go home but didn't tell me why. -.- later i found out it's cos i was the only girl among guys in a pool place. "not a good image" if my conscience is clear, what is there to worry? anyways. it was really fun. ((: bargained with my mom to let me come home by six. we played doubles then singles. i lost for the doubles. and got 2nd for singles. could've won. haha but keefe was too pro. seriously. chin whye and keefe's game took half the time mine and dean did. haha. they too pro. dean should've lost overall. but chinwhye potted the 8ball before the game ended. hahah

then dean left for tuition. and we walked around somemore. then chinwhye left. so keefe and i walked around a bit. his parents was gonna fetch him. but didn't want to fetch him from marina square. i tried to get him to fetch me home. hahha. but he lives in thomson O.o so we took mrt to dover. even though i told him he could go bishan. haha. my mom was super zhun today. so i didn't have to wait.

i found out that my brothers were really concerned about me being the only girl among a bunch of guys...in a pool place. ah well. i know it's cos they love me, but it was so annoying. ah well...
